Welcome to the Adventure Princesses, Kipoo Expedition, Kettering, Ohio

The South YMCA Adventure Princesses program is significantly different from scouting, sports teams, and many other activities, because it is specifically designed and intended to be a Father AND Daughter organization. Our members join the program because Father and Daughter want to spend more quality time together. This program provides a wealth of opportunities and settings that you are unlikely to find otherwise, to share and grow in one-on-one terms. From a Father's perspective, this program gives you the chance to bond with your daughter on many levels. The idea is to "Form bonds that last a lifetime", so that when your daughter enters the middle school and high school years, you have built strong relationships, and many positive memories. In the process, your daughter will gain a wide circle of friends, develop a strong sense of accomplishment and self worth, and get a sense of identity and belonging that is becoming increasingly rare in today’s world.

In addition to forming strong Father/Daughter relationships, the program also provides opportunities:

·         To see and do things you otherwise might not. Camping/hanging out at Camp Kern, marching down Main Street in the Holiday at Home Parade, working as a team on community or charity projects, and simply feeling like part of something bigger than yourselves.

·         To meet other parents and children and make lasting friendships. You’ll join in a circle of friends that you have much in common with, and will enjoy sharing time with - Dads as much as Daughters.

·         To learn more about where you live. The “Circles”, or groups of Dads/Daughters, often take outings to nearby attractions or points of interest, again learning and sharing, strengthening the bond between Father and Daughter.
